With great pleasure, we would like to draw your attention to the event i-Mobility (Israel, Investment, Industry, and Innovation) to be held on April, 16^th in Munich, HILTON MUNICH PARK, organized by the Israeli Economic & Trade Mission, Munich together with the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry, Invest in Israel and KPMG Munich:

The event will focus on innovations and investments in the automotive sectors, mainly on autonomous driving, connectivity, e-mobility and energy storage.

Worldwide, the automotive industry is facing great challenges:

Israel, which has been known for its innovative capabilities in various sectors, is currently emerging as a growing hub of automotive supplier and service companies. The Israeli automotive ecosystem is home to more than

500 companies related to electric mobility, autonomous mobility & ADAS, smart & connected mobility, Big Data & fleet management.

Investments in the Israeli automotive and smart mobility sector reached over US$ 17B over the last four years:

Mobileye´s partnership with BMW, VW´s investment of US$300M in the On-Demand taxi service Gett, Google’s acquisition of Waze, Porsche´s announcement of investing tens of millions in Israeli automotive technologies,

Continentals acquisition of Argus, the opening of the Daimler R&D office in Tel Aviv and of course Intel’s acquisition of Mobileye for about US$15B as one of the highest takeover premiums, are just a few examples to reflect on that.
