Machines communicate with each other and inform each other about errors in the production process. They identify scarce material stocks and order them themselves. Their intelligence also connects all those involved in the value chain: customer, supplier, supplier and partner. Production merges with information technology, robots relieve and protect people, individual production is not more complex than serial production. All this describes only a section of the ‘Smart Factory’.

The Smart Factory Innovation Forum is primarily aimed at entrepreneurs and managers on executive level from medium-sized corporations.

For them the objectives we’re following are

  •  to illustrate the urgency of transforming production, products, services and business models in the face of digitization, driven by new and changing customer needs;
  •  to offer experiences and share lessons learnt of already advanced enterprises in the digital transformation;
  •  to open approaches that facilitate the digital transformation of production, products, services and business models.

Also we welcome to the Smart Factory Innovation Forum the best start-ups in Europe and Israel with their exciting innovations for digital productions, products and services.

Last but not least investors and representatives of applied R&D should not miss this Innovation Forum.
